Business Alerting is a module of Business Engine configured using Business Studio. The Business Engine is responsible for executing the configuration you specified in the Business Studio.

To support higher high and lower low ranges, we pointed the Business Alerting to the Thresholds color for reading the allowable range of data. The Business Engine uses the Thresholds colors as a guide in the creation of alert records and calls the assigned actions.

Supporting dashboard variables greatly simplifies work with configuring the alerting in general.
